Position Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of creative projects, prioritizing projects and deliverables, confirming assigned resources, guiding project downloads, and developing timelines. This individual must communicate effectively within a matrix organization and with outside vendors to accomplish project goals and identify and resolve problems. The Project Manager will be the owner of resourcing and workflow management processes. The Project Manager is a highly organized, assertive, dedicated member of the communications team who is committed to helping move the team forward by identifying and delivering on creative priorities across all lines of the department while always looking to improve and refine our processes continuously.

Experience and Knowledge Required:
• Agree to ACC's doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision statement
• Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures
• Ability to interpret staff desires and articulate them to the creative team
• Excellent writing, editing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate clearly, especially via email
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines
• Strong time management skills for self and others
• High strategic, planning, and coordinating abilities
• Problem solver, critical thinker, tenacious, and resourceful
• Quick learner, self-initiator, hardworking, very well organized, adaptable, and a healthy assertiveness
• Ability to defuse sensitive situations in a diplomatic and heartfelt manner

• Ability to craft effective messaging and coordinate input from multiple sources
• Desire to assist in copywriting and messaging contribution to the organization
• Excellent Mac-based systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Drive skills
• Familiarity with various file types (i.e., PDF vs. PSD, etc.)
• Knowledge/awareness of the organization's existing communication media types (print, video, web, email)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.)
• Administrative experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and special events as needed
• Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and executing projects from beginning to end
• Responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and with excellence
• Responsible for workflow and project management for a specific set of creative projects, including design, social, print, digital content, web, video, and events
• Clearly define and scope projects and allocate resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including digital and social content, collateral, print, video, specialty items, and events
• Identify and manage appropriate external vendors, including freelance creative talent, developers, production, printers, etc.
• May develop and manage budgets by tracking team labor hours and external costs
• Provide quality assurance for all projects, including proofreading and reviewing brand guidelines and ensuring that files are properly packaged for vendors and clients
• Identify and communicate potential pitfalls, changes to scope, and alternative solutions to the Communications Manager
• Track project successes/failures after completion to gain an understanding of budgets and future projects
• Connect with staff to listen to project specifications (written and verbal) and translate requests into actionable creative project specifications
• Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project outcome
• All other duties as assigned
