The Global Product & RD team is building up core TikTok products to ensure TikTok continues a healthy growth, deliver the best product experience to all of our users, build the most attractive features to help users enjoy their time on TikTok, earn trust in privacy protection, and more.
The Global Product team is growing exponentially. The business lines are ranging from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more.
About the team
The UGC team is responsible for the supply, consumption, and long-term ecology of TikTok user generated content. We want to make TikTok be the preferred platform for users to express themselves actively, quickly obtain interactive feedback from FYP and search scenarios. Make content trending emergence continuously here. Build a diverse and inclusive community culture here.
Responsibilities
- Identify product opportunities, challenges, and drive product solutions to inspire various forms of content creation and consumption.
- Provide product solutions within broader organizational goals, leveraging data, user research, and market analysis.
- Define clear and precise metrics that best represent business outcomes and dynamically adjust product roadmap and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design and Data Science to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, data science, consulting, or equivalent roles.
- Strong logical thinking, able to lead product planning and design with a clear view of how the product roadmap contributes to TikTok's overall goals.
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with the social media landscape and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building 0-1 products from concept to launch.
- Experience working on photo and text products and/or community products and/or creative tools products.
