Simply put, we take care of our advisors, so they can take care of their clients.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead key integrated marketing and communication initiatives that require cross-functional collaboration, creative storytelling, multimedia strategies, measurable outcomes and exemplary project management.  This role also entails managing certain business operations to support the effectiveness of the entire Marketing & Communications organization at LPL Financial, including resource planning, talent development and engagement activities, meeting management, client activities and more.  The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services marketing with nuanced expertise in integrated campaign planning and execution. The candidate will have the much-needed skills to collaborate across multiple business lines, functions and agency partners, forming and nurturing tightly knit teams aligned around the same core objectives. This role requires a high degree of agility and comfort with unexpected activities. Often, the projects managed by this role will come up quickly and require a well-executed playbook to shape and direct audience messaging, creative, targeting, PESO media planning, CTAs and digital landing pages and scorecards to ensure full optimization of investments.  While supported by a cross-functional team, this role will play the lead in driving action and results. In supporting Business Operations for the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and the Marketing & Communications Leadership Team, the ideal candidate will be process-oriented yet flexible in their approach to maintain pace with a fast-moving environment. They will bring creative ideas to shape team building, effective operations management, time-saving practices, and employee engagement. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational practices, effective communications, relationship management skills and agile thinking with a willingness to be proactive in solving problems while willing to take on the next opportunity that comes their way.    You will report to our Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and collaborate daily with business partners, clients and colleagues in the Marketing & Communications organization.   Your success is defined by the outcomes of the integrated campaigns that you lead based on pre-determined KPIs as well as by the employee engagement survey results that reflect the overall effectiveness of the Marketing & Communications organization.  Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Developing integrated marketing and communication campaign strategies for firm-wide initiatives that include major launches and client initiatives.  Leading cross-functional teams for the delivery of strategies, with a clear set of deliverables aligned with targeted audience messages and deploying paid, earned, owned and social programs, on time, on budget and with strong outcomes. Project Management: Lead and manage high-priority projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within the marketing and communications organization to ensure fast and effective response times and high-quality, error-free output. Take friction out of the system and help to shape an earned perception that the organization is easy to work with and brings incremental value to the firm.   Marketing Analytics, Insights and Reporting: Analyze marketing data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement. Finalize quarterly scorecards and fine-tune dashboard reporting. Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare for key meetings, including agenda setting, facilitation and follow-up on action items. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. Special Projects: Handle special projects and initiatives that often require high-levels of discretion, premium quality and quick turnarounds.What are we looking for?We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience. MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic or operational role within marketing and/or communications. Preferences:Multi-channel marketing expertise with creative development, media planning, journey mapping, experiential and agency management skills. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. High level of discretion and confidentiality. Proficiency in marketing software and tools. Depth and breadth of knowledge in a regulated industry with a proven track record of simplifying complex matters and indexing high on storytelling across multiple stakeholders. Experience working in a Fortune 500 and/or large, dynamic company. Proven experience as a trusted advisor to senior executives.  Resilient, hard-working and thrives in fast-paced environments This role is based in one of the company's offices, located in Boston, Fort Mill, SC or San Diego. The position requires a hybrid work arrangement, with in-office working hours 2-3 days per week.Pay Range: $138,400.00 - $230,600.00Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
