Job Overview:
The Investor Experience organization is currently hiring a Product Owner on the Advisor Communication Solutions Team. Advisor Communications Solutions is responsible for understanding advisors’ office communication needs (e.g., email, chat, text, etc.) and ensuring they have the tools available to meet those needs. The Product Owner role is critical to ensure that the Product Vision, Roadmap and Features are delivered and produce the expected outcomes. This role champions the voice of the customer with technology partners and key internal stakeholders to ensure they understand “what” we are doing, “why” we are doing the work and “how” the work will impact our advisors and their staff.
Responsibilities:
Develop hands-on expertise with relevant Advisor Communication Solutions
Contribute to the Product Vision and Strategic Roadmap
Create Features, Epics and Stories in the Jira backlog that support the Product Vision and Roadmap
Partner with Product Manager on any Discovery needed for Features/Stories in the Backlog
Decompose Features and create User Stories, Task, Bugs and Spikes
Facilitate cross-functional sessions to refine, manage and prioritize the team’s Backlog
Facilitate cross-functional sessions to refine, manage and prioritize 3rd party vendors’ backlogs
Manage Jira Backlog health and data quality
Plan and facilitate PI Planning agile team-level events
Lead (or participate in) all agile ceremonies and represent Product interests
Manage completion of deliverables that are dependent on other teams
Facilitate product demonstrations as work is delivered
Partner with Quality Engineering on test case design
Facilitate user acceptance testing and defect resolution
Compare delivered features to acceptance criteria to determine if they meet the definition of done or require additional work
Execute change management strategy for feature rollout including LPL Home Office Employee readiness and Advisor communications
Participate in release events and support team with production validation and defect resolution
Measure actual outcomes and compare to expected outcomes
Produce reporting for KPIs and on-going performance metrics
Connect with advisors to understand their needs and gather feedback
Provide production support for escalated issues from advisors or LPL Home Office Employees
Produce SDLC documentation
What We’re Looking For:
Ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner using Agile methodology. They are fluent in the role/responsibilities of a Product Owner and understand how it complements the role of the Product Manager and Product Management framework. They are confident working with 3rd party vendors as well as internal teams. They are highly organized and proficient with critical tools like Jira and Confluence to manage Product delivery. They are experienced leading cross-functional teams through Product ceremonies and ad-hoc working sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner using Agile methodology, ideally Scaled Agile.

Experience managing 3rd party solutions and relationships
Experience with operational teams, processes and tools needed to ensure they are prepared to support advisors as new features are delivered
Experience with risk management concepts; able to work effectively with Compliance, Legal and Risk to identify and manage product risks.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision maker
Comfortable interacting directly with advisors both 1:1 and in large groups
Positive leader who demonstrates LPL values and inspires the best in others
Strong sense of personal accountability for work
Preferences:
Experience in Wealth Management
Experience with communication solutions such as text, chat, appointment scheduling
Pay Range:
$106,088-$176,813/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
