We are pleased to announce the opening for a Senior UI/UX Designer, who will join our Joint Simulation and Technology Control Toolset (JSTC2) team in Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal) and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for designing and developing beautiful and meaningful products which aid in solving complex problems for warfighter training exercises across the globe.
Responsibilities:
As the JSTC2 UI/UX Designer, you will work with a team of talented developers, testers, and the cybersecurity team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software product. Duties in this position will include:

Responsibilities:
As the JSTC2 UI/UX Designer, you will work with a team of talented developers, testers, and the cybersecurity team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software product. Duties in this position will include:
- Conducting user sessions to inform UI/UX designs and prioritization.
- Developing UI/UX designs including wireflows and mockups
- Guiding conversion of wireframes and mockups into web components
- Participating in the agile development process, including being active standups, sprint reviews, and quarterly planning, and suggesting improvements to team processes.
- Participating in ongoing discussions around new technologies and processes for UI/UX design, recommending system changes and enhancements as appropriate.
- Performing system review to ensure implementation matches wireflows and mockups
- Defining system UI/UX vision, including establishment of design principles and style guide(s)
- Communicating system UI/UX vision to internal and external development personnel, customers, and key stakeholders
- Participating in problem-solving sessions and provide input on design strategies
- Mentoring junior UI/UX team members
- Learning new and emerging technologies while expressing a growth mindset and participating in professional development.
- Integrating with our broader company design team to aid in marketing material development across projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- You must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, software development or design.
- You will need 5+ years of full-time professional experience. Prefer 10 + years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
- You must possess or can obtain an active Secret clearance.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

- You will need excellent communication skills with the ability to work and collaborate effectively with a team
- You will need knowledge of basic web standards, including responsive web design
- You will need a proven ability to prioritize tasks
