Bloomberg
US Leveraged Finance Reporter
Bloomberg, New York, NY
Bloomberg News is seeking a leveraged finance reporter to join its energetic credit team in New York.
You'd be covering the $1.4 trillion US leveraged loan market at a fascinating time, as businesses struggle to navigate higher funding costs and banks and private credit providers battle for market share. You will be joining a team of experienced journalists that cover some of the biggest debt markets in the world, and regularly produce well read stories on the Terminal and the web. You'll sit on a fast-paced team that breaks news on new loan sales across North America for Terminal clients, and would need to help chase down the details of new primary market deals quickly and accurately. A good understanding of corporate finance and debt issuance is paramount. The job includes frequent collaboration with reporters who cover related parts of leveraged finance, such as private credit markets and collateralized loan obligations.
We'll trust you to:
We work hard. We are ambitious and set ourselves tough business goals. We are a meritocracy where everyone has a voice - not a job title. Working with people you trust, respect, and can collaborate with is more important than titles or position. Things move fast, and we want people who will enjoy working in this environment and feed off the energy. But it isn't all about work. Giving back is one of our core values, and there are many ways to get involved in philanthropic initiatives from helping local school kids with their reading to helping clean up local parks and waterways.
