Our Governance and Experience team at TikTok E-commerce is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for users, sellers, and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality.
As a Product Manager focusing on Seller and Creator Violation, Appeal, and Education products, you will collaborate with various internal teams to build safety product features and strategies. You will work on governance and ecosystem features, technical strategies to improve TikTok shopping, and methods to detect and address risky behaviors and actors in TikTok's E-commerce ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and external articulation of strategies for e-commerce content and creator governance, balancing business growth with risk mitigation to ensure long-term business health and sustainability.
- Design educational interfaces and systems for creator credits and incentives, including rewards, penalties, and appeals, to enhance the vitality and health of the ecosystem.
- Develop a robust monitoring system for influencer activities and content creation, using data-driven quantitative analysis and qualitative observations to identify issues impacting business growth and consumer experiences.
- Address feedback from merchants, influencers, and users, refining and implementing rules and leading the design and implementation of abstract product business modules.
- Foster seamless internal communication, collaborating with business, strategy, and R&D teams to facilitate teamwork and collaboration across different product verticals.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with experience in constructing B-end workbenches and strategizing account security products.
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate complex Product Requirement Documents across multiple cross-functional product domains and lead cross-functional engineering teams.
- High data sensitivity, with the ability to swiftly identify risks, diagnose root causes, propose solutions, and validate outcomes.
- Proven experience with international products, community/social products, UGC platforms, supply-demand platforms, and overseas study/work.
- Passionate about content and e-commerce businesses, and an avid user of these products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of and passion for ecommerce and retail
- Knowledge of user generated content platforms and LIVE streaming is a plus
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and audience
