Job Description:

Dow Jones is seeking a talented and dynamic B2B Design Lead. This role sits under the Creative Director and will support the B2B side of the business.

The B2B Design Lead will maximize the talents of their team, acting as a leader-doer. This hands-on role will oversee design projects across B2B, ensuring brand consistency and high-caliber work.

You Will:
  • Oversee all brand and visual design projects for B2B, from conception to delivery.
  • Develop brand architecture, design visual identities, and conceptualize campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout all brand marketing projects.
  • Design and oversee original work, including visual identity, illustration and data visualization.
  • Review and lead the creative team's work to ensure design excellence.
  • Manage designers and other creative resources to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
  • Review and guide the creative team's work to ensure quality standards and adherence to project and business objectives.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to translate business objectives into creative briefs, and guide projects from big vision to execution.
  • Understand and define project architecture from vision to execution, build project roadmaps to build coalition and guide progress.
  • Share knowledge and inspire the team with knowledge of design trends, and deep interest in the creative landscape.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Design Lead, Senior Designer or similar role.
  • Portfolio demonstrating proven design ability, refined sensibility for UI, color and typography.
  • Deep experience in building and evolving visual identity systems.
  • Keen creative sensibility and dedication to design and typographic excellence.
  • Proven experience leading creative teams on complex projects from concept through execution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment on multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Intermediate skill level in Figma.
  • Ideally, a BA or MA degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a relevant field.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $165,000
