ABOUT THE POSITION
Are you looking for an opportunity to learn and grow in an organization that provides opportunity for their marketers to be involved in more than just the proposal experience, but also helping to support visibility and client focus efforts? VHB has the position for you!
We are looking for a new addition to our Southeast Regional Marketing Team! This position can be based in our Orlando, FL office. This position is hybrid out of Orlando office with the expectations to work at least two days in the office.
The Marketing Coordinator assists and/or prepares in drafting and producing proposals, qualifications, and other marketing materials as part of our Southeast Regional Marketing Team, completing all assignments in compliance with client deadlines, proposal budgets, and quality expectations.
Expect opportunity and active participation in marketing activities across the entire Client-Visibility-Pursuit (C-V-P) lifecycle, with primary focus on pursuits. Initial exposure to VHB's Focus Forward Approach and Client Focus Program. You will be actively trained and mentored on programs and marketing's role across the lifecycle.
Pursuits
- Supports proposal administration and preparation efforts through all phases of proposal development. May also support proposal pre-positioning pieces and client interview efforts
- Creates and helps maintain content for proposal sections such as past performance, resumes, and reusable product and services descriptions
- Assists and/or prepares basic/routine qualifications packages and proposals
- Assists in document production and flip-through QA (e.g., copying, binding, and delivery)
- Assists and/or coordinates client presentations
- Attends and helps prepare materials for proposal kick-off meetings
Clients and Visibility
- May provide support on conferences and other industry events/sponsorships
- Active learner and participant in verifying marketing's internal and external deliverables (and proposals) comply with VHB corporate branding standards, formats, and template styles
- May attend and/or participate in Client Focus and Market Team meetings with Senior Marketing partner. Actively mentored on the Focus Forward Approach BD program and VHB's client focus philosophies and strategies
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of proposal, writing, or marketing experience, preferably 1 year in A/E/C environment
- BA in English, Marketing, Communications, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and meets deadlines
- Involvement in industry affiliations, preferred
