Raw Earth Foundation, Miami, Florida, us, 33222

REF Origin Story:

Raw Earth Foundation was born from a deep rooted dedication to service and a love for all things wild. Our Founder witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of climate change on the Amazon during their time volunteering in Ecuador. The eye-opening experience strengthened her determination to take action toward environmental challenges. A while later, while traveling through South Dakota, they encountered a charming prairie dog colony with a “For Sale” sign in front of their burrows. In that moment, wishing so strongly that land could be purchased and wildlife could be protected from their unfortunate fate, steps were taken to create an organization that could help. In 2023, after almost five years of research and reflection, the foundation is making strides to restore ecosystems, protect biodiversity, and create sustainable green spaces to fulfill the original promise made that fateful day in the Amazon. What we are doing Now: The early stages of Raw Earth Foundation have been centered around building our online store and establishing fundraising platforms to fuel our programs. We have made significant strides in networking and forging connections with several other organizations and government officials; expanding our reach, impact, and the building of relations. These efforts have laid the groundwork for the future growth of our initiatives. Looking ahead, we are excited to focus on growing our team and established programs, as well as our online presence. In addition we are looking forward to acquiring and establishing facilities to support our programs. What a "day in the life" of a
