Armedia is in search of a User Experience (UX) Designer, this position is fully remote.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations (“Committee”) requires the support design, engineering, documentation, and quality assurance services for the Committee’s efforts to build a modern legislative system (“System”).

This System will have workflow processes to solicit “Member Requests” for policy and spending interests from the public and U.S. Senators when writing legislation.

Committee staff will serve as the Product Owner and will be involved in this effort to build the System. Additionally, the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) will provide an Enterprise Application Architect and a Technical Solutions Architect and Project Manager as part of the collaborative team (“Team”) who will assist with the design and evaluation of the System.

This position is contingent on the award of a contract and grant of funding.

Required Qualifications:

US citizenship A minimum of 5 years relevant experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product owners, software developers, and quality assurance analysts to ensure design concepts are fully realized in final products. Experience conducting user research and testing to gather insights and feedback to refine designs based on user interactions and responses.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with keeping abreast of design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies ensuring that designs remain innovative and relevant. Experience with optimized designs for different platforms and devices, considering responsiveness and user accessibility at all stages.
