Location: Mahopac, NY Work modality: Hybrid Compensation: $60,000-70,000 (depending on experience) They've partnered with CFS to bring on a Staff Accountant - you'll play a vital role in our dynamic accounting and operations team. Dive into day-to-day activities, managing payroll and accounts payable processes. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to enhance practices as we scale. What you'll do: Assist with the daily operations of the accounting department including: Month and year-end closing activities Accounts payable/receivable Cash receipts Payroll and expense reconciliation Check runs What we are looking for: Proven working experience in accounting - minimum of one year of general ledger accounting experience Experience working efficiently in at least one accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop Experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets Knowledge of accounting principles Strong attention to detail and accuracy Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related business field
