Accounting Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead critical financial operations and ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our clients accounting processes. This role will work closely with internal teams, external auditors, and tax professionals to manage various aspects of the companys financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audit teams, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Coordinate lease and fixed asset accounting, offering expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
• Administer benefit audits and manage 5500 filings for 401(k), pension, and insurance plans.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state sales and use tax filings, providing support for tax-related matters.
• Participate in physical inventory counts, with occasional travel (up to 20 days per year).
• Provide support and guidance to distribution centers to optimize financial operations.
• Manage Concur expense reporting and sales commission calculations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI and ERP systems.
