You will support design leadership and the centralized design team, by handling design delivery and driving day-to-day design work and processes. What the day will look like You will play a key role in leading our intake and prioritization, design governance, project management and measuring impact! Working in a highly energetic environment, you will work on multiple projects within design operations: Document frameworks and standard processes to ensure consistent quality across teams; find areas for improvement or optimization. Consolidate multiple documents to create source of truth templates - responsible for creating and managing a standardized document repository. Define and track KPIs to ensure the Design team’s operational efficiency. Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams. Design and implement onboarding process for new hires. Own the design system backlog, research repositories and design asset management. Coordinate design team rituals, including peer reviews and capacity meetings. Document and socialize success stories. Facilitate Design Thinking sessions, skills training and workshops. Manage external design partners and provide oversight to ensure consistency and compliance with the Design System. Responsible for internal team project management, including building Monday.com boards to track tasks and progress against the scope of work and agreed upon timelines. Skills and experience that will lead to success You understand best practices in product design and advocate for new tools and practices by staying abreast of design trends and conferences. Shown design leadership experience with ability to set the vision of Design Operations. Effectively lead people and projects. You are an innovative and creative problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy. 2+ years of experience Leading a creative team. 4+ years of experience in a Design Operations role. 5+ years of experience in Product or UX Design with a focus on Design Systems. Experienced with Project Management, including using tools to track tasks and progress. Proficiency in Figma, Miro, Confluence, or similar tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills for optimally communicating with key customers. Education: Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, or related field. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $130,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
