Job Summary:The Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Mason Interactive will drive customer engagement, retention, and loyalty across a variety of owned data properties such as ESPs and CRMs. This role is essential for developing data-driven, customer-focused journeys that optimize engagement and retention throughout the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate is skilled in personalized marketing strategies, experienced in Klaviyo and other CRM tools, and eager to leverage customer insights to build lasting, meaningful connections with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy that aligns with Mason Interactive’s brand values, growth goals, and client expectations. Implement targeted email, SMS, and digital campaigns to drive engagement and long-term loyalty.
- Campaign Management: Design, execute, and oversee campaigns across the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, retention, and reactivation. Utilize Klaviyo’s advanced segmentation and automation capabilities to deliver cohesive and impactful customer experiences.
- Customer Insights and Segmentation: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify customer behavior trends and create targeted audience segments. Use customer insights to tailor personalized campaigns that resonate across different audience profiles and stages in the customer journey.
- Data Analysis & Optimization: Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, using data insights to continuously optimize lifecycle marketing efforts. Conduct A/B testing and leverage Klaviyo’s reporting tools to iterate on strategies and improve campaign efficacy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with teams cross-departmental teams to ensure a unified, seamless customer experience. Collaborate on brand-aligned initiatives and share insights to enhance customer engagement across departments.
- Project Management: Manage end-to-end lifecycle marketing projects, including campaign timelines, resources, and budgets. Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Stay informed on industry standards and marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). Ensure compliance and champion best practices across all lifecycle marketing efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in lifecycle, retention, or CRM marketing, with a record of driving engagement through multichannel campaigns.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, including Google Analytics and customer data platforms.
- Proficiency in CRM & Marketing Platforms: Experience with Klaviyo and familiarity with other platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce. Expertise in utilizing Klaviyo’s segmentation, automation, and analytics capabilities is essential.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with experience managing timelines, budgets, and resources for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think strategically and creatively, using a customer-first mindset to address diverse customer needs and enhance lifecycle marketing efforts.
Preferred Skills:
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of HTML/CSS for customizing email templates and familiarity with A/B testing tools and test-and-learn frameworks.
- E-commerce and Digital Experience: Background in a digital or e-commerce environment, with an understanding of digital customer journey mapping.
