The LIV Golf League is the world’s only global golf league featuring 13 teams, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. History

LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event ‘Invitational Series.’ 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucía to Singapore, as well as launch the game’s first Team franchises, captained by some of golf’s most decorated superstars.

The format, respecting the history and traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern day sports fans; 3-days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, offering a faster pace-of play to drive engaging storylines and offer an immersive fan experience.

The events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast around the world to over 300million homes, deliver a family-friendly environment, festival-style atmosphere, evening concert entertainment and world-class competition; a combination that is unique to the world of golf.

In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game’s first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered.

Role Objective:


The Marketing Operations Manager will play an important role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing team.  Reporting to the VP of Brand Strategy, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Brand Strategy, Creative, Social Media, and Regional Marketing—to develop and optimize workflows, define roles and responsibilities, and coordinate marketing activities using project management tools. In doing so, you will LIV Golf reach new audiences and bring our brand strategy to life.  The ideal candidate has a background in marketing operations or project management, a knack for building efficient processes, and a collaborative mindset, and understands that efficient operations lead to higher performance and better marketing.


Responsibilities: 


  • Optimize Ways of Working: Evaluate current marketing processes and identify areas for improvement. Partner with Marketing leads to implement streamlined workflows that reduce bottlenecks and enhance team productivity.
  • Define Roles and Responsibilities: Establish clear ownership of tasks within projects to prevent confusion, ensuring each cross-functional team understands its role in delivering timely, high-quality work.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact between Marketing and cross-functional teams, facilitating alignment and promoting seamless communication.
  • Establish Best Practices: Develop a framework for consistent ways of working, promoting accountability and efficiency across all marketing activities.
  • Guide Project Management: Utilize project management software to create, track, and manage project timelines and milestones, ensuring marketing assets are delivered to the right teams at the right time.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights: Track and report on marketing KPIs, using data to recommend adjustments to workflows and team processes.
  • Training and Support: Educate the Marketing and cross-functional team on new processes and tools to foster adoption and sustain long-term efficiency improvements.


Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.


Required Skills

 

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, or similar)
  • Understanding of marketing technology and CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate across teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Experience in creating and optimizing workflows that address cross-functional needs.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Continuous improvement mindset – passion for problem-solving and for developing new ways of working.

 

The hiring range for this position in New York ranges from $85,000.00-$95,000.00 USD.
