Seeking: Motivated Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our rapidly growing team whose mission is to spread awareness and educate Veterans on VA’s telehealth programs. Position Overview: Supporting this high-profile customer, you will collaborate with DCG project managers and the client, as necessary, to develop a variety of communication products, including but not limited to social media, print and digital collateral, and training materials. The Marketing and Communications Specialist will assess the impact and success of the various communication campaigns, adjusting their approach to future products based on the result and feedback from team members and the client. Location: Fully Remote; the selected candidate will work during DCG’s core Eastern Standard Time business hours. Key Responsibilities: Develop social media content, source images, and collaborate with design team for correct sizing Build communication campaign collateral, including web banners, news articles, print and digital materials, social media and blog posts. Develop training materials, including slideshows, FAQs, step-by-step walk-throughs, and website content development Contribute to internal and external blog posts and related content Report on metrics monthly and quarterly Required Qualifications: Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications and/or marketing, with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience supporting communications and marketing campaigns, preferably in an agency or federal contractor setting. Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Demonstrated technical writing experience Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, an eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage a diverse workload, and work both independently and collaboratively as a team Experience developing traditional communications products and social media posts Positive attitude and willingness to learn Experience with digital media preferred Experience working with or supporting VA or VHA in particular strongly preferred Active or previous VA clearance strongly preferred Culture at DCG: DCG boasts a flexible and adaptable culture.
