Description

Village Plumbing, Air, and Electric, a leading home services company in Houston, TX, is seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in expanding our brand presence across social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and within the local community. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, creative, and passionate about delivering engaging content that reflects our company values and resonates with our audience. In addition to managing our digital channels, this individual will play a key role in strengthening our community connections by coordinating sponsorships, charity partnerships, and chamber of commerce activities. This position will report directly to the General Manager, Wes Hardin, with a soft reporting line to the VP of Marketing at Flint Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and create all organic social content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter (X), and YouTube Shorts, ensuring content is engaging, brand-appropriate, and posted consistently.

  • Manage all email marketing initiatives, including drip campaigns and one-time sends, to drive customer engagement and retention through our CRM, Service Titan.
  • Gather, curate, and develop all necessary content (e.g., videos, photos, customer testimonials) to enhance brand storytelling and create a strong visual presence.
  • Build and foster relationships within the local community by coordinating sponsorships, supporting local charities, engaging in chamber of commerce activities, and promoting our brand at community events and sports partnerships. Collaborate with local organizations to increase brand visibility and demonstrate our commitment to the Houston area.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions, cultivating an engaged online community.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar for social media and email campaigns, ensuring alignment with company goals and seasonal promotions.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media and email marketing performance to identify areas of improvement and optimize future campaigns.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or email marketing.
  • Experience in graphic design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing social media content.
  • Basic video editing skills to create and edit short-form videos for platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
  • Understanding of social media trends and best practices, particularly for organic content.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) to plan and measure content effectiveness.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members, community partners, and external vendors.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills for creating engaging content and collaborating with team members.
