About the Job

The Director of Consumer Marketing will be responsible for the development, execution and performance of the Rilzabrutinib consumer strategy. Rilzabrutinib is an innovative BTK inhibitor and a 'pipeline in a pill' with its anticipated first launch in Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), an autoimmune rare blood disorder.

This position is based in Cambridge, MA and will report into the Head of Marketing, Rare Hematology and will lead a talent-dense team of consumer marketers. This role will work closely with cross functional partners, such as but not limited to, HCP marketing, patient advocacy, patient support services, etc. to ensure strategic alignment, collaboration and executional excellence. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic team environment with a high degree of autonomy and creative problem-solving skills. There will also be an opportunity to provide input into consumer strategy and tactics for Cablivi, the first and only approved treatment for TTP, a devastating acute blood disorder.

Main Responsibilities:

Marketing Leadership and Cross-functional chops: Develop strategic direction for US rilzabrutinib consumer team focusing on an

omnichannel

acquisition and retention strategy, execution, alignment, and partnership with cross-functional teams (including Patient Support Services, HCP marketing and global marketing). Lead the development of consumer competitive strategy to address current and future competitors. Key strategic partner with patient advocacy, patient support services, HCP marketing, US medical, global marketing and field teams, as well as Cablivi marketing to ensure appropriate and compliant strategic alignment, collaboration, and executional excellence. Accountable for agency relationships to drive value, innovation, and impact to support consumer strategy, while maintaining a critical lens on investments. Clearly communicate and champion rilzabrutinib brand strategy with key stakeholders internally and externally. Encourage innovation, embrace a culture of thoughtful risk taking, champion simplification and make critical decisions to simplify and create efficiencies. Ensure smart spending and optimize resource allocation for consumer marketing efforts. Culture and People:

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience in product/brand management, and/or strategic marketing in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries. Deep experience in devising strategies to navigate the consumer journey funnel via digital/social media

is a must . Experience in competitive markets (such as hemophilia, dermatology, respiratory, rheumatology, vaccines or oncology)

is strongly desired. A comprehensive understanding of the key dynamics driving the US health care environment. Ability to interact widely and effectively both within the company and with cross-functional partners (i.e., on an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary basis). Prior launch experience in a competitive market. Demonstrates emotional intelligence by seeking to understand before reacting (space between thought and response). Ability to think creatively and lead innovative projects. Performance orientation and ability to drive, work and deliver along agreed timelines. Ability to lead cross functional stakeholders (i.e., market research, PRB, digital, training, marketing) and coordinate across teams to ensure projects continue to move forward.
