Exciting Opportunity for an HR Generalist - Vancouver, WA Are you a dynamic and resourceful HR professional? Our client, is seeking an HR Generalist to support their growing team in Vancouver, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company's HR strategy and ensuring the success of its operations. What You'll Be Doing: Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process by sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various roles within the organization. Manage the full onboarding process to ensure a smooth and efficient transition for new hires. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with business goals. Employee Relations & Support: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters. Assist with conflict resolution and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Administer employee benefits programs and assist with any questions or issues related to benefits. Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure company policies are compliant with local, state, and federal labor laws. Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records. Coordinate and conduct training sessions on company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Performance Management & Development: Support managers in performance evaluations, goal setting, and employee development plans. Help implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and career development. Administer employee recognition programs to foster a motivated and high-performing team. HR Administration: Manage HR documentation, including employee files, job descriptions, and compensation records. Maintain accurate HR metrics and assist in preparing HR reports for leadership. Assist with payroll administration and other HR-related administrative tasks. What We're Looking For: Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : At least 2-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the construction or similar industry. Skills : Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Additional Details: Location : Vancouver, WA. Industry : Construction.
