Job Title: Director of Partnership Marketing
Location: Remote or NYC, NY
Reports to: VP Event Marketing
The Director of Partnership Marketing is responsible for developing, managing, and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy to drive event attendance, enhance thought leadership, and contribute to overall business growth. This role will focus on recruiting, nurturing, and managing strategic partners while overseeing a team of marketing professionals. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in partnership development, people management, budget management, and a strong track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, CRA is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account numerous factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates' qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 100,000 to $110,000, which does not include other compensation benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in partnership development, people management, budget management, and a strong track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify, recruit, and cultivate strategic partnerships that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Develop and execute partnership agreements that drive event attendance, co-marketing opportunities, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate partnerships into broader marketing strategies and programs.
- Foster long-term relationships with partners to ensure mutual growth and success.
- Develop joint marketing campaigns with partners to increase visibility, drive attendance, and generate leads for key events.
- Leverage partnerships to enhance the company’s thought leadership position through co-branded content, webinars, and speaking engagements.
- Monitor event ROI and attendee engagement to ensure partnership effectiveness and optimize future events.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, setting goals, and driving professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture that aligns with the company’s values and goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance and partner engagement.
- Develop and manage the partnership marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Track and report on marketing spend, ensuring all partnership activities are cost-effective and within budget.
- Work closely with finance teams to analyze budgetary needs and provide accurate forecasts for partnership initiatives.
- Drive measurable business growth through strategic partnership campaigns and co-branded initiatives.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure partnership success, event participation, and overall business impact.
- Present regular reports to senior leadership on partnership performance, marketing ROI, and opportunities for future growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in partnership marketing, strategic partnerships, or business development.
- Proven track record of driving event attendance and business growth through partnerships.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend for maximum ROI.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to travel 10 – 20% of the time to events and or our New York Office if remote.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and value creation.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI technology.
