Summary:
The coordinator of the Writing Center will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Writing Center and assist the director with the planning and implementation of all matters related to the center, including organization and program planning and assisting undergraduate and graduate students with their academic writing. This 12-month appointment is within the Department of English and Foreign Languages in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavioral Sciences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Writing Center Director to research, gather, organize information and data related to programs in the assigned area; prepare and compile reports, manuals, articles, announcements, and other informational materials.
- Prepare, format, revise, and review a range of documents, such as forms, memos, reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare and deliver oral presentations related to assigned areas as required.
- Provide training, orientation, and guidance to assigned faculty, staff, and students; assists in the recruitment and provide recommendations.
- Apply emerging technologies and, as necessary, to perform duties in an efficient, organized, and timely manner.
- Teaches undergraduate courses in English general education program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Support students in identifying, developing, and applying learning strategies and study skills to enhance self-regulation, fostering academic success and progress toward graduation.
