Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath designs, as well as proficiency in using 2020 Design software. The ideal candidate will have experience with cabinet brands such as Merillat, Brookhaven, Showplace, and J&K Cabinetry, and must possess a passion for helping clients achieve their dream spaces. This is a commission-based position, offering unlimited earning potential based on sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Custom Kitchen and Bath Spaces: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets to create custom kitchen and bath designs that align with their vision and lifestyle.
• Proficiency in 2020 Design Software: Use 2020 Design software to create detailed, accurate, and visually appealing floor plans, elevations, and renderings for kitchen and bath projects.
• Cabinet Brand Knowledge: Offer expert advice on a variety of cabinet options and styles, with experience in working with brands like Merillat, Brookhaven, Showplace, and J&K Cabinetry.
• Client Consultation: Conduct in-person or virtual consultations with clients, offering professional design advice, product recommendations, and solutions to meet their functional and aesthetic needs.
• Sales and Product Recommendations: Help clients select cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, hardware, and other kitchen or bath elements based on their preferences and project budget.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with contractors, installers, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery and installation of designs.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, from initial consultation through to project completion, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, product offerings, and updates from major cabinetry brands, ensuring clients are presented with the best options.
• Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Reliable Transportation: Maintain a reliable source of transportation to attend client meetings, project sites, and design consultations as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Kitchen and Bath Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and experience using 2020 Design software for creating and modifying designs.
• Cabinet Brand Familiarity: Knowledge of and experience with cabinet lines like Merillat, Brookhaven, Showplace, and J&K Cabinetry is strongly preferred.
• Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with the ability to drive revenue through design expertise and effective client relationship management.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to create accurate and detailed designs, specifications, and product lists, ensuring a seamless transition from design to installation.
• Creative Design Skills: Strong eye for design, with the ability to merge aesthetic preferences with functional needs, creating practical and beautiful spaces.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable means of transportation for client meetings, site visits, and project coordination.
• Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
