JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The John M. Lilley Library has available vacant federal work study student staff positions for the spring 2025 semester. A successful candidate must be willing to work some evenings (until 10:00pm) and alternate with other student assistants to work a few weekend shifts each semester. Job duties include working at the circulation desk, shelving library materials, maintaining the library`s collections, processing incoming/outgoing mail, and assisting with special projects. To be considered for this position, interested candidates must submit an online application and be eligible for a 2024/2025 Federal Work Study award.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
