As such, GS is focused on building out a data-and-technology enabled team of growth marketers, delivering value for the brand and the business. The organization will consist of COE teams including Brand Marketing, Marketing Strategy & Transformation, Content, and Media, as well marketing teams for each of our revenue divisions. Together, this function will collaborate to build a unified, scalable, and consistent approach to marketing the brand and its offerings. Job Summary:
We are looking for a strong, self-directed individual with expertise in social media who will help to build and protect our brand through social media. The Associate will help craft and execute social media content to amplify key messages from product and brand teams, including announcements of new products, consumer promotions and initiatives. The Associate will manage an analyst on Marcus organic social media content calendar development, which is designed to engage and grow our followers. This role requires the ability to see the big picture while also keeping a close eye on the details. This individual will liaise with multiple senior stakeholders and will manage communication flows among internal teams, external agencies, and social platform partners. This person will need to consult on influencer marketing and paid media programs as needed.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Manage analyst on the conception, creation and execution of social media posts for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
  • Determine the appropriate moments to engage with the audience
  • Ability to confidently interact with senior leadership and provide timely feedback/advice

Content

  • Oversee the content creation process of social assets from beginning to end (brief agency, manage stakeholder feedback, apply platform best practices); work with both internal and external agencies as well as internal design and creative services teams. Collaborate with community management and paid media teams.
  • Support day-to-day social media efforts, including real-time social media requests from key internal stakeholders
  • Fact-check, proofread and gain the needed approvals for real-time social media requests
  • Work closely with legal, compliance and operations partners to develop and execute social media content in process-oriented, compliant manner.
  • As needed, collaborate with product and brand on development of an influencer strategy related to the planning and execution of product launches, brand campaigns and consumer engagements.

Listening & Reporting

  • Utilize social listening tools, such as Sprinklr to generate insights/learnings
  • Partner with colleagues across the organization, as well as agencies and vendors to help translate social media data into actionable reports that lead to optimization

Influencer Programming:

  • Oversee the recruitment, management, and on-going success of our influencer marketing program.
  • Lead stakeholder reviews, legal and compliance reviews, KPI management, optimizations, and value creation for the Marcus Brand and our individual lines of business.

Required Skills and Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree 4-6+ years of experience managing social media for brands or publishers
  • Very savvy user of essential social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram)
  • Experience using social publishing and listening tools (Sprinklr) and native platform analytics systems
  • Experience working with creative teams and an understanding of the creative process
  • Creative mindset, intellectually curious and interested in illuminating the firms thinking in accessible, clever ways
  • Demonstrated service focus (internal and external) and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong editorial judgment, writing skills and attention to detail
  • Results-oriented: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
