Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for creating demand for the IB's key products and services, including our educational programmes and professional development products by developing and implementing marketing strategies and product launches. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including professional learning, sales, and marketing, to ensure successful and on brand product launches and ongoing marketing efforts in line with business goals.

Job Duties

• Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates the IB products from competitors. Clearly articulate the value proposition and key benefits to target customers.• Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches. Define target market segments, identify channels, and create marketing plans to drive product adoption and revenue growth.• Marketing Collateral and Content Creation: Create marketing collateral, including sales presentations, product sheets, case studies, and whitepapers. Develop compelling product narratives and content that effectively communicates the value of our products to target audiences, including schools, teachers, parents, students and key decision makers• Sales Enablement: Enable the sales team by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell the product.• Product Launch Management: Lead the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating activities across various teams. Develop launch plans, set timelines, and ensure successful product introductions into the market.• Market and Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats. Continuously analyze market data to optimize product positioning and marketing strategies.• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, marketing, and executive leadership. Effectively communicate product strategies, updates, and metrics to stakeholders.• Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and product launches. Track and analyze metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's degree• Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager or equivalent• Creative mindset to generate novel GTM strategies and launches• Strong understanding of market research, product marketing and best practices.• Knowledge tracking and analytics tools.• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
