Our client is looking for a results-focused, visionary product marketing leader who combines deep industry and domain experience with a passion for looking at the insurance business through our customers' eyes - and excels at translating those insights into great products and experiences.
In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of product marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for Our client's product lines, working across product management, marketing, and sales teams to make sure the world knows about our market-leading solutions.
Who You Are
The right candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance business, extensive knowledge of P&C personal, commercial and specialty lines, a passion for InsurTech, and experience addressing growth plans. The candidate must have a proven track record in partnering and communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders such as product management, business development, marketing, sales, and finance, and is comfortable working closely with and presenting to the executive team. Must be customer and market focused, an excellent problem solver, outside-of-the-box thinker, and be able to deliver a positive business impact.

You know the insurance industry, the InsurTech business, and the various market players like the back of your hand: What they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn't guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.
You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop innovative programs that drive demand. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our products' value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our customers' problems and drive real business outcomes. You are obsessed with tracking performance, and have the data to prove what's working and what isn't.
Responsibilities Include:Plan, manage and execute product marketing initiativesDrive and execute the product marketing strategyConduct product research and competitive analysisDrive the launch plans and adapt based on market feedback, sales feedback, market and competitive shifts and participate in product planning throughout the product life cycleQualifications:
Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in product marketing, field marketing or sales operations in companies with $150M+ revenue. Experience in insurance software preferred.Over 10 years' experience in the P&C insurance industry. L&A insurance experience a huge plus.Demonstrated experience as a marketing leader. Expert in strategic marketing, willing to work tactically.Possesses broad knowledge of all aspects of the product marketing function based on in-depth knowledge and experience in middle-management roles.Passion for building innovative products that solve user needs through deep understanding of the customerBalance strong bias for action with deep experience driving product alignment across multiple stakeholders4-year BS/BA degree in a technical, business or other analytical field requiredMBA or strong business acumen
Travel Requirements and Position Location:
Based in Morristown, NJ. Business travel of approximately 50 percent yearly is expected for this position.
