About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is well known in the real estate industry founded over 40 years ago Employees praise the company for its amazing learning opportunities, meaningful networking events, and company culture Our client is seeking someone to join their collaborative work environment Location: Bethesda, MD (Free parking or easily accessible by metro) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm or 9am - 6pm, 40 hours/week Monday - Thursdays in-office and Fridays working remotely. (If someone prefers to work in-office Monday - Friday, they can but most staff work from home on Fridays.) AP Specialist Responsibilities : On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: AP Specialist will be indexing invoices - entering invoices (approx. 17,000 invoices/year or 1500/month) into the system (Nexus) including vendor number, invoice set up, etc. Once entered, the system will push through for approval Note: AP Specialist will not be scanning invoices at all. Our client accepts invoices via email to a specific address, then the system feeds the invoices into the AP software On Tuesdays & Thursdays: In the mornings, AP Specialist may continue to index invoices, if necessary, otherwise AP Specialist will spend the bulk of each of these days doing the check runs (done in MRI). Once the invoices have been approved by the appropriate property accountant or other authorized employee, AP Specialist will cut the checks/release payments - this is done through MRI. Fielding questions about invoices and/or payments from people in the departments AP Specialist will mainly interact with internal employees Ad hoc tasks and projects, as requested Requirements: 2-5+ years of full cycle AP experience Basic Excel skills Nexus experience is preferred but NOT required Previous ERP system experience (MRI is system used but MRI is NOT required) Previous real estate experience is a plus but NOT required Degree is a plus but NOT required Personality Fit: Outgoing Personable Approachable and friendly Very detail oriented Team player who works well with others Must write instructions down during training Follow instructions well Not afraid to ask questions when necessary Qualified candidates please submit your resume for immediate consideration for this exciting opportunity!
