The Opportunity
We are seeking an MBA candidate for a summer internship in support of a global launch in the rare disease space. The summer intern will gain valuable experience in launch preparation as well as marketing materials development and tactical implementation to deliver on a product launch. The ideal candidate has a background in healthcare or biotech marketing. This individual will collaborate closely with partners in commercial, regulatory, medical and legal to develop marketing materials and training programs that resonate with the intended target audience and meet regulatory guidelines and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to various aspects of congress preparation, including booth design, logistics, and promotional materials development, to support an engaging, brand-aligned experience that enhances visibility and customer engagement.
- Leads the development of educational materials to support infusion training for customers, including nurses and other medical staff in hospitals and clinics, ensuring resources are comprehensive, accessible, and aligned with best practices to enhance clinical competency and patient care.
- Leads the development of a comprehensive website designed to support a centralized call center, providing stakeholders with complete and reliable information. This platform ensures efficient communication and access to essential resources in support of customers.
- Supports planning and execution of engagements with patient advocacy groups to seek feedback on promotional materials and patient programs, including agenda development and insights conclusions.
- Supports creation of digital content including branded websites to enhance online presence and effectively communicate product education to target audiences, ensuring accuracy and alignment to brand strategy and messaging.
- Completed first year of an MBA program
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 2+ years in marketing roles or relevant experience within the healthcare industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically to patients and healthcare providers.
- Proven ability to work effectively across functions and lead collaborative initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
