Duties:
- Litigate insurance and bad faith cases in California and other jurisdictions.
- Provide broad insurance coverage services to clients.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including:
- Motion practice and discovery.
- Alternative dispute resolution and trial preparation.
- Drafting pleadings, briefs, and conducting in-depth legal research and analysis.
- Deliver liability analyses for clients and develop tailored litigation strategies.
- Handle breach of contract and bad faith claims from inception to trial.
- Conduct proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience, with at least two years in insurance-related litigation and bad faith cases.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cases through all stages of litigation, including preparation for trial.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities professionally.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) with strong academic credentials.
Certifications:
- Active admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance and bad faith litigation.
- Expertise in legal research, writing, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to provide strategic legal advice.
