Job Type Full-time Description Reports To: Director of Stewardship & Development Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM, occasional evenings and weekends Summary: The Marketing & Communications Coordinator leads marketing and communications efforts of the Department of Stewardship & Development. This position supports parishes and agencies to utilize best practices to advance community engagement. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the department pages of the website, creating, and executing the department communications plan, and supporting parishes in the areas of social media, communications, engagement, and related parish stewardship activities. Requirements Position Responsibilities: Develops and executes a strategic action plan for all marketing, communications, and media efforts for the department of stewardship & development. Manages the master communications plan for the department, including the Archbishop's Appeal for Ministries, Assumption Seminary, and Hope for the Future. Creates promotional materials including digital and print advertising, marketing, general promotional collateral materials, special events and fundraising collateral, press releases, speeches/scripts, and online presence, including social media Produces and edits ongoing department communications Maintains department website pages and social media platforms Monitors the marketing, advertising and print budget line items for the department. Supports parishes through training in best practices in social media, communications, engagement and related parish stewardship activities. Conducts interviews and collects pictures and testimonials from ministries, Hope for the Future recipients, donors, and leadership. Assist in the education of parishes regarding best practices for e-communications, live streaming and other strategies of communication and evangelization for full community engagement in ministry and development. Assists parishes and schools with marketing and communication with fundraising initiatives Work with leadership in developing messaging and themes for appeals and fundraising efforts Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others. Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information. Adherence to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy is mandatory. Essential Functions - ADA Minimum Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or business-related field, or combination of education and experience. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience in marketing related field. License and Credentials: Reliable transportation Valid driver license Valid vehicle insurance Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Minimum Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of three (3) years' experience in marketing and communications. Clearly understand the Church hierarchy, fundraising, Christian stewardship, Archbishop Appeal mission, purpose, and goal. Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with computer software including Adobe Suite and Canva. Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team. Must have good written and verbal skills; Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Travel requirements for the position includes 5% local and 0% overnight.
