We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Digital Marketing Supervisor to join a leading Company located in the Chicago, IL surrounding area.Salary Range: $88,434 - $97,614Strategically manage and enhance the digital presence and visual identity of the County Government. Responsible for aligning digital and design strategies with organizational goals, ensuring consistent and effective brand representation across all communication channels. Create engaging visual content, manage web properties, and collaborate with various departments to support communication, outreach, and engagement efforts. Guide and mentor team members, contributing to the overall success of the organization's communications and outreach initiatives.Responsibilities:Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive digital strategies, including web, social media, photography, and content calendars for the President's Office and County Government accounts.Provide guidance and mentorship to the communications team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Oversee the development and maintenance of the County's brand SharePoint Hub and style guide.Manage digital assets and provide resources and templates for the Public Relations Specialists to maintain brand consistency.Lead the design and creation of engaging photography, graphics, banners, and posts for social media, websites, and newsletters.Maintain and update a range of web properties to ensure optimal user experience.Collaborate with Public Relations Specialists and website managers to provide design, photography, and creative recommendations to enhance their platforms.Oversee the development of content calendars for Project Rainbow accounts.Write and design newsletters for initiatives and external outreach efforts.Manage GovDelivery lists, create topics, and collaborate with external affairs on public outreach newsletters.Conduct daily media monitoring and contribute to the development of monthly media reports.Collaborate with the County designer or external consultants on larger projects.Provide support for press conferences and serve as a site lead when necessary.Capture photography for events and pressers, maintaining a photo database for the president's office.Write short event remarks for the president and serve as a backup for daily debriefs.Basic Hiring Criteria:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Minimum four (4) years of communications, marketing, public relations, or directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of professional work experience, training, and education.Desired Qualifications:Ability to create a collaborative and diverse team culture and provide day to day direction of tasks.Ability to operate as a senior team member and communicate advanced specialized knowledge to team members, leaders, and external stakeholders.Ability to effectively delegate tasks to staff and collaborate with leadership to achieve organizational or department success.Ability to align team tasks with departmental procedures and objectives and serve as a reliable resource for other employees in an area of expertise.Strong knowledge of social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with writing and editing in the Associated Press style.Proficiency in graphic design tools and inclusive language.Strong understanding of web design principles and experience with content management systems.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
