Primary Purpose
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote the company's products and services. This role involves enhancing brand awareness within the digital space, driving website traffic, and acquiring leads/customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing team, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of marketing outreach initiatives before, during, and after trade shows, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand message.
- Develop and implement targeted digital marketing strategies that resonate with the CRO, biotech, and pharma sectors for Emmes Group, Emmes and Veridix AI.
- Execute direct digital buys, content syndication, and newsletter campaigns, optimizing for reach and engagement within the scientific community.
- Craft and maintain comprehensive digital marketing plans, utilizing a variety of content and creative assets.
- Utilize Hubspot to its full potential, managing campaigns and analyzing data to inform marketing decisions.
- Schedule and manage social media content across multiple platforms, tailored to a biotech audience.
- Create and update Canva templates with content and graphics aligned with marketing and branding strategies.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to Marketing team, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage tickets to update and maintain the company website with the latest information and features.
- Manage social media calendar for Emmes Group brands including copywriting, graphic design, and scheduling.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the biotech, pharma, or CRO industries, with a preference for candidates who have a background in areas of therapeutics.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in digital marketing, particularly in roles that involve strategic partnerships and content creation.
- Proficiency in Hubspot, Canva, LinkedIn and Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint
- Deep understanding of marketing automation software such as Hubspot, or Marketo.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of scientific and research terminology in written communication materials desired
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once with strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
- Understanding and familiarity with industry related conferences and workshops
- Strong knowledge of social media channels and technology
