This summer internship at Harmony offers a unique perspective into a rare-disease focused biotech company. Our internship program will provide you the opportunity to work on real-world projects, as well as network with people at Harmony through various events and activities.
Summary of Internship:
This position will work on the Marketing team at Harmony. Marketing is responsible for:
- Providing information and resources about our medicines to patients and healthcare professionals
- Development of brand strategy, positioning and communication of product features and attributes to key stakeholders (patients and healthcare professionals) using market insights and analytics
- Development of promotional materials that communicate/educate key stakeholders on the overall benefit risk profile of our products across a number of channels where they search for information (print, digital, web)
This internship will work on one or more projects in the areas of: College/Young Adult Campaign, HCP Writer Segmentation Campaign, and Professional Meetings/Conference Planning.
This position will have the opportunity to learn about the role of pharmaceutical marketing and the larger role of the Commercial business contributions to the organization health and success. This position will be responsible for working with the Marketing team to contribute insights and hands on contributions to the development of campaign materials as well as participate in other projects and initiatives within the team that may require support or as bandwidth allows.
Requirements:
- Minimum age for all candidates must be at least 18 years or older
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising sophomore, junior or senior with an interest in business/marketing (major or minor)
- Must be proficient in use of MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Teams
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills
