Description
Varied role as External Communications Specialist:
Develop and implement external communication strategies that promote key practice groups, services and capabilities
Collaborate with the marketing and communication teams
Manage media relations, press releases, preparing for questions, measuring and maximizing media opportunities
Support with RFI's, RFP's, tenders and pitches
Ensure consistency in the company's brand messaging across all platforms
Triage all incoming media inquiries, draft press releases, maintain press lists

Profile The successful External Communications Specialist will have demonstrable experience: A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or other related field Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 5+ years experience in external communications, preferably for a top tier law firm or professional/ financial services or consulting firm Strong press, PR and media communications background Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to build rapport quickly and work collaboratively with the wider communications and marketing team locally, nationally and globally Job Offer The External Communications Manager role is offering: An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $101,000 Annual bonus and highly competitive benefits package Genuine opportunities for career advancement within the professional services industry Hybrid working arrangement (3 days/ week in the Houston office) An inclusive and supportive company culture We invite dedicated professionals seeking to make an impact in their field to apply for this exciting opportunity in New York.
