The Technical Coordinator- Video responsible for planning event equipment logistics, reservations, internal transfers, support, and sub rentals.

Your day will look like this:

  • Analyze equipment lists for site/regional availability within inventory system to make reservations and equipment transfers.
  • Analyze and interpret inventory availability information via R2 Inventory system, PowerBI, and SSRS.
  • Work with global coordination and global warehouse teams to move inventory by deadline.
  • Discuss equipment availability with account representatives, department directors, and/or project managers.
  • Routinely monitor orders for correct reservation and return dates.
  • Carry out subrental requests and communicate vendor quotes/pricing to relevant parties.
  • Generate purchase orders for confirmed subrental equipment.
  • Alongside project management, plan and provide support as necessary for any damaged equipment throughout all events.
  • Plan and communicate the prompt return of subrental equipment.
  • Carry out any other necessary tasks within the scope of this role.

Your profile:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a live production warehouse technician, warehouse operations, and/or on-site live production technician preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with equipment rental software preferred.
  • Knowledge of the entertainment/live events industry.
  • Knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and rigging live production inventory and accessories.
  • Knowledge of live production inventory signal flow, including power and data cabling.
  • Knowledge of Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Knowledge and/or experience with R2 Rental Software a plus.
  • Advanced planning, organization, and project coordination skillsincluding the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze equipment lists with project management to ensure all necessary accessories are included on orders.
  • Ability to analyze equipment reservations to ensure accurate task dates and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for training or special projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complicated inventory, logistical, and operational issues.
  • Ability to work/communicate effectively with clients, crew, management, and warehouse operations. (internal and external).
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute gear planning revisions and design changes.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
