Job Summary

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the development and messaging of communication plans across the platforms of written and digital publications, web and social media. Assists in editor and coordinator duties for magazines and publications.
  • Produces specialized collaterals of a complex nature for key stakeholders.
  • Skilled in the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with Corporate Communications, Strategy & Growth, service line leaders and senior leadership in media relations, internal communications and marketing of services.
  • Overall customer service responsibilities to actively promote the Health System as the leading provider of clinical care and population health and wellness; serve as a champion for innovation, develop best practices and look for creative solutions to support department and Health System initiatives.
  • Collaborates with health system leadership and service line leaders to develop relevant and timely program messaging that highlights and promotes the services of Norman Regional Health System.
  • Designs, writes, records, edits and develops multi-media messaging across all owned and earned communication channels in support of Health System strategic organizational initiatives.
  • Writes, edits, and produces ads, brochures, direct mail, and new releases for internal and external audiences.
  • Shoots and edits video for our digital channels
  • Develops and writes copy for radio, video, live streaming, other social media platforms, such as blogs, posts, forums and chats.
  • Develops website copy content specific to search engine optimization of the Health System's services and programs.
  • Ensures a cohesive, brand standard look and voice across all social media channels.
  • Stays up to date on current social media trends and forecasts what steps the Health System should take to stay relevant in the social landscape.
  • Support system's marketing strategy, brand development, and Internet strategy through implementation of tactical initiatives.
  • Promotes the concept of customer services.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Public Relations.

Experience

  • Experience in copywriting for communications, video editing, journalism, marketing or public relations preferred.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • MS office applications
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn Experience with video editing software MS office applications
  • Ability to function as a one-person team or assist as a team member on other projects Camera and photography knowledge Strong storytelling skills with an emphasis on finding a storyline and capturing audiences' attention through strong visuals

Compensation

  • $22.88-$37.37/hr based on previous work experience
