Job Title: Creative Designer
Job Status: Full-time (Hybrid)
Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Creative Designer will be responsible for the execution of high-quality visual assets across all mediums while also contributing to the overall creative direction. The Creative Designer will be at the forefront of our brand's visual strategy, crafting compelling designs that resonate with our audience, elevate our brand identity, and ensure a cohesive visual identity across the organization's events, collateral, campaigns, and programs. This role requires a balance of creative thinking and design execution, ensuring that the organization's visual presence is engaging, culturally relevant, and aligned with its mission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of innovative visual concepts that reflect and elevate the department's brand and programming
• Collaborate with the team to bring fresh design ideas and creative vision to campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional initiatives
• Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints, including social media, print, digital advertising, and onsite branding
• Execute high-quality, on-brand design work, including but not limited to social media graphics, website assets, email templates, print and exhibition materials
• Take ownership of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and brand guidelines are met
• Produce multimedia content such as short videos or motio graphics, as needed, to support marketing efforts
• Problem-solve visual challenges quickly and effectively, ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced environment
• Work closely with marcomms and organizational partners to design content that drives audience engagement and supports social media campaigns
• Evolve visual identity as appropriate and maintain brand guidelines
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop visually compelling campaigns
• Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, multimedia content creation is a plus
• Arab American culture and history
• Proficiency in Arabic language a plus
• Arabic design principles
Skill in:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong portfolio displaying a range of design work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all designs are polished and error-free
Ability to:
• Demonstrate ability to take a project from concept through to execution with minimal oversight
• Multitask multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of brand identity and the ability to maintain visual consistency across platforms
• Partner with other functional areas as well as external business partners to accomplish objectives
• Present and articulate design concepts clearly
• Adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
• Minimum Degree Required:

• At least 3-4 years' experience in a design role, preferably with experience in print, digital and experiential, related design experience or any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources
• Demonstrated graphic design experience via portfolio
