The Senior Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for leading performance marketing initiatives. This role will be pivotal in driving center leads and enrollments and supporting benefits registration and utilization through data-driven strategies. The Senior Director of Performance Marketing will oversee a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize our marketing efforts across multiple channels.
What you will be doing:
Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy aligned with Bright Horizons' business goals and objectives.
Channel Management and Innovation: Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including SEM, SEO, display, social media, and direct mail. Drive new channel testing to efficiently expand our channel suite.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, drive optimization, and inform strategic decisions. Track & report on performance KPIs on daily/weekly basis and iterate quickly to optimize, proactively detect, and course correct immediately.
Budget Management: Oversee the performance marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. Track spending and ROI, making adjustments as necessary to maximize return on investment.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product, U/X and Brand teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement and brand messaging.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, ensuring Bright Horizons remains a leader in the industry.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Create a data- driven culture and learning environment that encourages continuous improvement in content quality and speed of execution.
Collaboration & Partnership: Mange relationships with third parties/vendors. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Data Analytics, Design/Creative, Engineering, and Product Marketing to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives
What we hope you will bring to this role:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field - Required
Master's Degree - MBA - Preferred.
8+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a strong focus on digital channels, and growth marketing in e-commerce (preferably B2C) with a track record of results in driving growth - Required
7+ years as a people manager - Required
Additional Job Requirements
Proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and achieving measurable results.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.).
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with effective external agency management.
Experience in the education or childcare sector is a plus.
Exceptional project management, prioritization skills; flexible and agile mindset.
This is a Hybrid Role based in our Newton, MA office.
