Summer Intern Marketing and Social Media

Description
Virtual Events:
Coordinating virtual events/webinars, including setting up registration pages, providing production support, collaborating with marketing efforts and producing events
Conducting industry research and landscape assessments within the adult learning space
Supporting the creation of analytics and usage reports for IEEE products to identify actionable insights, key trends and metrics, user behavior, data/marketing/website optimization opportunities, as well as to respond to institutional customer requests
Social Media
o Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
o Help create and adhere to regular posting schedule
o Draft interactive content and version the content for different platforms
o Assist on influencer campaign strategy
o Brainstorm and research ideas for original content Graphic design for visual rhetoric - Create compelling graphics and video snippets to increase engagement Reporting and analytics oResearch and reporting on relevant trending topics oPull and report on findings from social analytics data oShare campaign results in internal reports oTrack social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability • Complete special projects as set forth by manager
Qualifications
Education and Experience: Undergraduate student majoring in Interactive Media, PR, Marketing, or Communications preferred. Skills & Other Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Familiarity with social media and best practices Familiarity with Adobe creative suite or Canva Excellent written communications skills Superior proofreading skills and strong attention to detail Proactive and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to multi-task projects
