Vast offers an internship program with hands-on opportunities to be part of our mission. Our interns are mentored by industry experts responsible for developing and telling the story of our progress, mission, and vision to stakeholders, from government agencies to scientists to private passengers. This is a 12-week internship at our headquarters in Long Beach, CA.
Responsibilities will vary depending on each intern's area of expertise. We are currently looking for candidates with experience in the following disciplines:
Marketing Event Management Digital Design/UX/UI Graphic Design/Brand Design Communications/PR Social Media Public Affairs Editorial (Writer) Internal Communications Merchandising Media Production Industrial Design Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program from an accredited college or university in humanities, communications, public relations, journalism, creative design, industrial design, or marketing. Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work full-time onsite Attention to detail Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve Prior knowledge of relevant tools based on their skillset (ex: a Graphic Designer would have knowledge of Adobe, Figma etc. programs) A positive and curious attitude with team spirit Pay Rate:
$33/hr (Bachelor's Degree) $38/hr (Master's Degree)
Salary Range: California
$33-$38 USD
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package. This status includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents (green card holders), and asylees and refugees with such status granted, not pending.
