Overview:
The Sr. Communications Manager is critical to shaping and executing the Origami Risk stakeholder messaging and company story. This role strives to advance Origami Risks narrative with target audiences including Risk and Core markets, media, clients and partners. This is a player/coach role responsible for managing an internal team and working closely with a broad range of teams (Sales, Demand Gen, Content Marketing, Product Management) to strategize and coordinate impactful initiatives that support business outcomes, champion Origamis values and build brand awareness. Responsibilities: Leverages expertise in copywriting in the B2B Tech SaaS space to support communications driving go-to-market, demand generation, brand presence and corporate messaging. Creates and manages communications process to support the efficient production and scaling of standard communications. Project manages short- and long-term communications projects to optimize team skill sets and deliver communications on time. Works with events, product marketing and demand generation teams on developing and executing content at each stage of the sales funnel, including blogs, white papers, client stories, sell sheets, videos, press releases, webinars, events and speaking engagements, and other marketing and sales enablement assets. Draws from key personas, quantitative and qualitative data and internal briefs to ensure positioning and messaging is relevant and influential to clients and buyers. Collaborates deeply with go-to-market teams (Sales, BDRs, Product, Marketing) to ensure content, campaigns and pre/post-sales motions are aligned and effective. Tests key messaging and provide storytelling guidance around the top content themes. Manages internal colleagues and staff augmentation freelancers responsible for copywriting and editorial efforts. Responsible for team member performance management activities, including providing ongoing coaching and mentorship, completing review and compensation processes, etc. Manages communications calendar; collaborates with internal social media specialist to include an aggregate view. Leverages AI and automation tools (as appropriate and in line with internal IT security protocols) for content development and improvement. Supports internal and external subject manager experts in developing concise and goal-oriented outlines and messaging. In collaboration with marketing operations, leverages analytical data and metrics to define recommendations and drive actions for content performance. Maintains tone of voice, style and messaging consistency across website, lead generation assets, email, social media and external communications. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required Marketing, advertising, or a related field. 7-10 years professional work experience in marketing and communications roles Collaborative team player with strong ability to work with other marketing colleagues, internal stakeholders, and clients. Exceptional written and verbal communication; portfolio required. Confidence and proficiency in communicating with executives and other senior leaders. Experience managing internal and external individual contributors preferred B2B SaaS experience preferred.
