We are looking for a Civil Designer to join our Springfield, Missouri team.
Responsibilities may include:
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers to develop and execute project plans.
- Participate in the design and layout of civil engineering projects.
- Conduct calculations and analyze data to ensure accurate and efficient design outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Estimate quantities and construction costs to support project budgeting and cost control.
- Provide construction phase services by monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct reports and studies to assess project feasibility, performance, and compliance.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of permit applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficient project execution.
- Civil engineering and design experience desired but not required
- Desire to learn civil design software such as Civil Storm, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, etc.
- Interest in working on municipal, commercial, and subdivision land development design projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
