The
Senior Marketing Project Manager
is a critical leader in ensuring the success of marketing and design initiatives by driving strategic project execution, optimizing workflows, and fostering effective communication. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can seamlessly manage complex projects and cross-functional teams, while also providing strategic direction and mentorship. The Senior Marketing PM serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality results for marketing campaigns, website initiatives, and special projects.
Location : Grapevine, TX Office (In-office, 5 days a week)
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of complex marketing projects, including managing cross-functional teams such as design, social media, content, web, and events, through all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, and closeout). Develop, refine, and implement advanced processes to enhance team efficiency, ensure adherence to deadlines, and align deliverables with business goals. Act as a strategic partner by providing high-level recommendations on project prioritization, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. Build and nurture strong interdepartmental relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related updates, escalations, and stakeholder communications. Manage and mentor junior project managers or coordinators, fostering professional growth and enhancing team capabilities. Oversee relationships with key external vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and performance standards. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including scopes, timelines, revision histories, and deliverables, to support transparency and alignment across stakeholders. Drive the adoption of project management tools like Asana, ensuring optimal usage and continuous improvement of team workflows. Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and best practices, integrating innovative approaches to improve team performance and project outcomes. Provide insights and reporting to senior leadership on project performance, resource utilization, and areas for improvement. Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on marketing, creative, or digital projects. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Advanced proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, or BigCommerce is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, cross-functional marketing initiatives with measurable success. Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with experience influencing and collaborating at all organizational levels. Strong analytical mindset, capable of synthesizing data to inform strategic decisions.
