Project Manager
to join their
Roadway Design
team in their brand new, vibrant
Fairfax County
based office! Our client is a people-driven multi-disciplinary land development, transportation, landscape architecture, planning, and land survey firm that proudly services the Northern Virginia region. Their commitment to community, strong relationships, talented staff, and technical expertise has allowed them to cultivate a diverse portfolio featuring high-profile public and private developments across the DMV.
As a
Project Manager
on our clients Roadway team,
you will be responsible for leading and managing transportation projects, client management, strategic design, and supporting younger staff members. You will advance the discipline of transportation for their firm with a focus on mentorship, staff development, project execution, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities Act as Project Manager and manage team effort and coordinate with other PM’s in all phases of projects Maintain and manage current client relationships with their vision. Review and approve design, documentation, and planning tasks performed by team members. Oversee the onboarding and assimilation of new employees and team members. Effectively communicate and coordinate assigned projects between project participants, including architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and clients. Utilize working knowledge of VDOT, state and local standards, policies, and procedures. Remain current with Local, State, and Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Professional Engineering License (P.E.) At least 10 years of Roadway experience Knowledge of VDOT policies, procedures, and documents
