About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Communication Specialist
to join our team. In this role, you will provide strategic communication support for a high-visibility business unit, working closely with leadership and business process owners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative problem-solving, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to deliver impactful messaging in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic communication plans tailored to business objectives. Create, write, and edit messages with a strong focus on AP-style standards. Conduct research and leverage audience insights to craft compelling key messages. Establish and refine communication processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication strategies with business needs. Interface with leadership to provide guidance and support for internal and external communications. Design and track quantifiable metrics to measure communication performance and progress. Exhibit creativity in problem-solving and adapting strategies to meet diverse challenges. Perform basic graphic design tasks, including print-ready projects and vector-based artwork.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field. Seven or more years of relevant experience, including expertise in three or more communication disciplines. Exceptional writing, verbal, editing, and presentation skills, with a mastery of AP-style standards. Proven experience in developing and executing strategic communication plans. Strong project management and multitasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Enthusiasm and passion for understanding and supporting business objectives. Demonstrated graphic design skills and experience with vector-based artwork preparation.
