We are working with an Oilfield client that is looking to add a

Senior UX Designer

to their team.

Rate:

$65.00/hour Work Location:

Onsite – Houston, TX 77032 Shift Details:

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration:

1 year with a high possibility of extension based on performance and other factors.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive user research to identify personas, understand user behaviors, and gather insights to inform design decisions. Develop and maintain information architecture frameworks that facilitate intuitive navigation and content discovery. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Develop high-fidelity prototypes for new product ideas and features, ensuring they are user-centered and align with business goals. Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyze feedback, and iterate designs to enhance user experience. Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with project timelines.

Qualifications: Minimum of 7-10 years in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions. Bachelor's or master's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field or equivalent. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite, and familiarity with HTML/CSS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the oil and gas industry or with industrial applications. Knowledge of front-end development and database-driven functionality to foster a strong partnership with developers.
