Employee Experience Communications, Specialist The Specialist, Employee Experience and Communications will play an important role in supporting PTCs strong focus on being one of the best places to work. In this position, youll work cross-functionally with the entire Brand, Culture, and Employee Experience team as well as other critical People Team groups including Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition, that drive programs and initiatives to promote PTCs values and beliefs. Your days will be a blend of managing and supporting internal digital communication channels, working with the Employer Brand team on the development of digital assets to support initiatives, writing communications, and more to support PTCs commitment to providing a world-class employee experience. To succeed in this role, youll need to be highly collaborative with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Youll bring experience and an interest in honing your skills with digital tools to enhance how we communicate with our employees. Since this is a small team with a large charter, you need an entrepreneurial mindset to take advantage of opportunities to learn new skills and provide creative ideas to ensure our approach to communications/content is fresh, engaging, and utilizes all available digital resources. Responsibilities: Build and execute integrated communications plans leveraging PTCs digital channels to engage, educate, and activate employees about programs delivered by each of the People Teams Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Compensation, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition). Manage HR intranet, People Hub, that is the dedicated channel for the People Team to engage with employees, by developing new best practices for sharing and managing content, working cross-functionally with IT to maintain site and identify areas of improvement to meet evolving needs, and provide content creation assistance to People Team Centers of Excellence. Support the companys quarterly top employee recognition program, Change Makers, by writing feature stories on winners' accomplishments and developing communications to promote the stories internally and externally. Support our internal listening strategy to ensure the employee voice is heard and survey data is aggregated for leadership consumption and action planning. Analyze communications data to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that help us make informed decisions about employee engagement tactics for future programs. Manage monthly PTC Socials for the Boston Seaport office, working with sponsoring Employee Resource Groups, catering, and employee communications. Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge: A bachelors degree is required. A minimum of one to two years of experience in internal/external communications, employee engagement, or marketing. Be eager to join a small team and willing to roll up sleeves to be a contributing team member. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch gears quickly. Capable of building internal networks/relationships to deliver results. Excellent project management and organization skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Curious, life-long learner, proactive and self-motivated. Knowledge of Staffbase, Microsoft Viva Engage, ServiceNow, and Glint are a plus but not required.
