Pit Viper is a 100% in-office organization, with two weeks allowed per calendar year of remote work.

Position

The Senior Media Buyer will be responsible for Pit Viper's international advertising program, media strategy, optimization, and testing, across multiple platforms.

Pit Viper currently runs a full-funnel advertising campaign in the United States, Canada, and Australia; with assistance from a contracted agency. The Senior Media Buying Manager, in conjunction with the Director of Performance Marketing, will in-house all ad buying and ensure top-level KPIs are hit. This position will manage a team of junior buyers and work collaboratively with the Creative Department to optimize ad performance on a rolling basis.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Media Buyer will ensure daily strategy is well-informed and properly holistic; both across paid media channels, and working collaboratively with the other marketing efforts within Pit Viper.
  • Ensuring media campaigns are at full efficiency through: developing concise strategies, continuous testing, and working intimately with the Creative Team for messaging development.
  • Lead, develop, launch, optimize, and monitor advertising campaigns, managing the entire process from start to finish.
  • Ensure advertising budget is properly allocated across channels, regions, campaigns, and ad groups through testing & optimization.
  • Working directly with the creative team to ensure Pit Viper's ads are the funniest & most effective on the internet
  • Manage all aspects of reporting; both for the Digital Marketing team and cross departmental.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of holistic paid media experience
    • At least 2 years of experience managing multi-million dollar campaigns
  • Minimum 2 years experience leading, managing, training, and growing junior media buyers
  • Deep A/B testing experience
  • Strong reporting, for senior leadership & distilled for junior employees
    • Basic sequel knowledge is a bonus
