Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more.   • Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
  • Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement

  • A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Project Role: Wrangler Brand, Media & Content Management Intern

The Wrangler Media & Content Management Intern will assist the brand marketing team to drive demand creation through media and content for all Wrangler lifestyle business units. This person will work as part of the team to support media planning, execution of media tactics (both offline and online) and assist in social media content management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with brand team in the development of national brand media plans, including TV, radio, OTT, streaming audio, paid social, and online video.
  • Assist in the execution of media plans for Wrangler. Work with cross-functional and agency partners to support creative deliverables for media.
  • Aid in seasonal production planning and execution in support of media creative. Including, but not limited to, pre-production planning, model selection, shot list creation, style out, retouching, and asset management.
  • Support in the content development process for select Wrangler social media channels, including, but not limited to, coordination with content producers, coordinating content shoots and providing insights on social media best practices.
  • Correspond daily with internal teams, outside agencies and content production partners.
  • Support brand initiatives as needed; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Maintain organization of media plans, seasonal and brand assets (video and photography) and support with budget deliverables.
  • Research the apparel and media market as a whole to better understand competitor's media and content tactics.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- written and verbal
  • General understanding and perspective of the current media and content landscape.
  • Proactive and solutions - oriented attitude
  • Project management and time-management skills for juggling multiple time-sensitive deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
